About the Journal

JTEKMEN (Journal of Technology for Community Service) is a scholarly journal dedicated to publishing the results of community service initiatives grounded in the application of science and technology. The journal serves as a platform for academics, researchers, and practitioners to disseminate ideas, methodologies, and implementation outcomes of community service activities that focus on technological solutions for various societal challenges. We present articles that are not only technologically innovative but also generate positive, sustainable social, economic, and environmental impacts.

We invite article submissions from relevant disciplines, such as software engineering, information systems, electrical engineering, mechatronics, and other technology-related fields. All submitted manuscripts undergo a rigorous peer-review process by subject-matter experts to ensure originality, scientific validity, and the relevance of the contribution to society. The journal’s primary focus is to document processes involving technology transfer, technology-based training, innovative product development, and impact evaluations of implemented community service programs.

JTEKMEN aims to serve as a key reference for stakeholders interested in the intersection of technological innovation and community empowerment. Through this publication, we hope to foster closer collaboration among higher education institutions, communities, industry, and the government. We are committed to building an academic ecosystem that supports the creation of technologies that are user-friendly, beneficial, and capable of improving the quality of life for the broader community.
